The Dallas Margarita Society and Dallas Children’s Charities hosts fun times and fundraising events throughout the year to help us meet our goals.
Among the many, two standout events are our annual Charity Golf Classic and our renowned “signature event”, the annual Dallas Margarita Ball, that kicks off the holiday season in Dallas each November.
Attendance at the Ball has tripled since its humble beginnings and is now known as the largest annual invitation-only, charity black tie gala in the world, providing gifts for 6,000 to 10,000 kids during the holidays.

Admissions & Invitations
The Dallas Margarita Charity Ball is a private event hosted by the Dallas Margarita Society.
An invitation and a valid government-issued photo ID are required for admission to the Ball. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to help make the holidays brighter for children in North Texas. Toys should be appropriate for children ages 6–12. Monetary donations may also be made in lieu of a toy.
Invitations must be received from a Dallas Margarita Society Director, Director Emeritus, Member, or an event.
Dress Code
BLACK TIE (TUXEDO) PREFERRED
DARK SUIT AND TIE REQUIRED
ALL CASUAL WEAR STRICTLY PROHIBITED
The dress code is strictly enforced. Guests who do not comply with the dress code will not be admitted to the Ball.
Men’s Wearhouse
Will be on hand to assist with all the men’s formal wear needs.
Visit any DFW Men’s Wearhouse and tell them you are attending the 2026 Dallas Margarita Ball for a discount on a tux rental.
They will also be at the hotel on Sunday morning to take your return, saving you a trip to the store.

Tips & Helpful Information
A few helpful tips to make the most of your Margarita Ball experience:
If you plan to drink, please arrange a rideshare, taxi, designated driver or consider staying at the hotel.
Please do not drink and drive.
The Ball does not provide dinner, so we recommend having a meal before arriving.
With thousands of guests attending, allowing extra time for parking, check-in, and entry will help you get the evening started smoothly.
With thousands of guests throughout the hotel, cell service can become busy. If you’re attending with a group, consider choosing a meeting spot in advance.
With multiple floors featuring live entertainment, DJs, casino games, silent auction items, the wine pull, and other activities, there is plenty to see and do throughout the evening.
Staying at the Sheraton makes it easy to enjoy the Ball, after-parties, and the rest of the evening without worrying about transportation.
Become a Volunteer
We have two volunteer events each year, a Golf Classic in June and the Dallas Margarita Ball in November. We have a variety of volunteer roles at each of these events. These roles can include checking in guests, collecting donations, facilitating a game, and basically helping us assure everyone has a good time and we meet our mission to “party with a purpose”.

Please note, we do not host events where we interact directly with children. The Dallas Margarita Society is an all volunteer organization that raises money for charities that have programs for at-risk and disadvantaged children in the DFW area.
How We Party
The Dallas Margarita Society Silent Auction is one of the Ball’s largest fundraising opportunities, featuring a wide variety of items and experiences donated by local businesses and supporters.
Auction items may include:
– Restaurant and dining experiences
– Sports and entertainment memorabilia
– Artwork
– Travel and vacation packages
– Experiences and services
– Other unique items and packages
All proceeds from the Silent Auction benefit Dallas Children’s Charities and its supported organizations.
Silent Auction Registration
Guests may register for the Silent Auction at the Ball and prior to the Ball through social media and email announcement. A valid credit card is required to register.
Picking Up Auction Items
Winning bidders may pick up their items following the Ball according to the pickup instructions provided at checkout
Donating to the Silent Auction
Businesses and individuals interested in donating products, services, experiences, or other items to the Silent Auction are encouraged to contact the Dallas Margarita Society. Donations help support Dallas Children’s Charities while providing valuable exposure to Ball attendees.

Doors open at 7:30pm at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. The Event concludes at 11:30pm.
Additional Details
Drink tickets are available for purchase throughout the Charity Ball. Sheraton staff will be stationed at various locations throughout the event to assist with ticket sales.
– Soft Drinks, Water, and Beer (Domestic/Import)
– Wine or Mixed Drinks.
TABC regulations are strictly enforced.
Guests may leave the Ball and return during the evening. A Re-Entry wristband is required for anyone who plans to return after exiting the Ball. Please obtain your wristband before leaving.
All official Margarita Ball Pre-Parties and Post-Parties must be approved by the Dallas Margarita Society. Information about approved events will be shared with guests as it becomes available.
Smoking is not permitted inside the Ball or hotel. Guests who wish to smoke must use designated outdoor areas.
A Will Call location will be available on the day of the Ball for guests who need to pick up or arrange delivery of their invitations. Specific location and hours will be posted within the hotel the day of the event.

How do I get an invitation?
Invitations may be obtained through:

Because invitations are limited, attendance cannot be guaranteed unless invitations are specifically included with a sponsorship package.
Can I purchase one ticket?
No. The Margarita Ball is not a ticketed event.
It is a private, invitation-only event.
An invitation and valid government-issued photo ID are required for admission, and guests must be 21 years of age or older.
Where does the money go?
To provide at-risk Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex children with gifts at Christmas time and help these community organizations that work with at-risk children throughout the year.
